A. Yes, only in the "My Page" tab. The other tabs are in fixed positions. This allows you and the troubleshooter to view the exact pagelet/layout and troubleshoot portal issues more effieciently. ![]()
How can I get rid of content I don't want to see? Top
A. You can only do this from the "My Page" tab: click the "X" (remove) from the pagelet header. Or, you may minimize the pagelet by clicking the "-" (minimize) button. You may also click on the "Content" link to uncheck the pagelet(s).![]()
Do I need to sign in to view the portal content? Top
A. Yes and no. Before signing onto the portal, a few pagelets are displayed for you within each of the displayed tabs. After signing onto the portal, the application will determine what other pagelets and tabs you will be able to view. ![]()

A. Yes, once signed in you will notice a lock icon
at the bottom of your browser's status bar when encountering a secure page.![]()
How do I add a portal menu to My Links? Top
A. First of all, only portal itself (menu items) can be added. You cannot bookmark web pages that run on other web servers. To bookmark a Portal Menu item, login then simply navigate to your chosen application (i.e., HSC Business Applications / Financials / Requisition Items / Add a Requisition) then click on the "Add to My Links" link from the navigation header. For example, the next time you want to quickly navigate to the "Add a Requisition" link, simply go the "My Links" and click on the "Add a Requisition" link.
To remove links, click on "My Links" link, click "Edit My Links" link, click on the link to be deleted, two options are displayed: [Edit link] and [Delete Link]. Select the appropriate one, confirm option. Return to "Home", you may have to click the "Refresh My Links" option to update changes.
